Battlements
My dear madam
Please join me in my box
The quiet deafens me
It grows to great proportions
May I offer you a plump slice of silence
Diced to luscious tidbits
To slide under your pink tongue
There to dissolve into silky midnight stillness
Seeping into me
Knowing my persona
Leaving no assumptions
Pedestrian as it seems
When I act you shall act
When I sleep you shall sleep
When I make love so shall you
And of the people who talk
Well my dear madam
Let their words bounce
From our smoldering battlements
Rebounding upon the wicked gossips
Drenching them with burning pitch
Filling their mouths and silencing them forever
